Getting Started with Google File Stream

Google Drive File Stream makes your Google Drive function on your district and personal computers (Windows and Macintosh) just like another drive.

This means that you can save and open Word, Excel, Adobe, Smart Notebook, etc. files without uploading or downloading from the Google Drive web page, or converting them to or from Google formats.

As you log onto a District Windows PC, you will be prompted by Google to login with your district email. (e.g.

Once you have done this, browse your files, you will find a drive named Google Drive File Stream. When you open this drive you'll two folders "My Drive" (Your Google Drive folders and files) , as well as "Team Drives (Google Drive folders and files shared between multiple users).
